Depression is probably one of the most commonly misconstrued mental illnesses, where a consistent misuse of the word has led many to believe you need only to be sad to be depressed.


Depression is much more than a few tears and can easily paralyse your day to day life. It brings you total monogamy and slowly but surely steals every emotion from you – leaving you staring at a wall with not a thought.


Getting through a depressive episode is tough but by no means impossible. And if you’ve done that (well done!!!) but still experience those days, where you’d rather hide under your cover than look at daylight, try using these simple, positivity boosting tips that spur me on to see the day.
